LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court against the formation process of caretaker setups in Sindh and Balochistan provinces, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Thursday.
Dr. Mubashar Hassan in his petition contended that caretaker governments are not being formed in accordance with the constitution.
The petitioner argued that article 62 and 63 of the constitution are not being followed in the electoral process. He said that measures should be taken to stop fake degree and dual nationality holders from contesting general elections.
