LAHORE: A fire erupted in a private school in Lahore on Thursday injuring at least 21 children and a teacher, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

According to reports, fire fighters along with four fire tenders extinguished the blaze which reportedly broke out from a gas heater in a classroom of the school at Lahore’s Shahdara locality.

The school children have been evacuated by Rescue team from the building; however, 21 children have suffered burn injuries. The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals.
