Pakistan-Turkey strategic partnership would continue to grow: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan recognizes Turkey as a strong friend and expressed the hope that Pakistan-Turkey strategic partnership would continue to grow.

   

Sharif made these remakes while talking to his Turkish counterpart Dr Dr Ahmet Davutoglu who called him on Thursday and extended his condolences on the loss of life and property due to heavy floods in various parts of the country.

The Pakistani premier thanked his Turkish counterpart for his concern and said that Turkey is always among the first to express solidarity with Pakistan in the face of such natural calamities.

Nawaz Sharif expressed the confidence that under his visionary leadership Turkey would continue its journey for peace and progress.
