Pakistan to face West Indies today in 3rd ODI

GROS ISLET (St Lucia): The Pakistan and West Indies are set to play their third One-day International of the five-match series here on Friday.

The match starts at 09:00 local, (13:00 GMT), 5:00 p.m. Pakistan time.

West Indian will reportedly field the same squad that shared the honours with the visitors over the first two matches in Providence (Guyana).

Dwayne Bravo, the West Indies captain, is optimistic of higher scores but his team of power-hitters will be relieved only if they get conditions that suit their strengths.

Pakistan won the first ODI against West Indies and lost the second.

West Indies named an unchanged squad for the three remaining one-dayers, giving Johnson Charles an extended run as the wicketkeeper in Denesh Ramdin’s absence.

With a 16-man travelling party, Pakistan have a wider pool from which to draw their final eleven and there is a strong case for Junaid Khan’s inclusion.

Left-arm seamers Mohammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz have also been included. Shahid Afridi many make a comeback in this match.
