Pakistan suffers 23 more COVID deaths

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country suffered 23 more COVID deaths and witnessed 1,629 new infections in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC).

On January 24, a total of 36,607 people were tested for Coronavirus across the Country and with a national positivity ratio of 4.45%, 1,629 of them were found suffering from the disease.

Now the Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in the Country have reached 534,041 while the death toll has mounted to 11,318.

So far 488,903 people have recovered from the infection whereas 33,820 remain unrecovered yet. Of the COVID patients across Pakistan, 2,218 are in critical condition.

In the last 24 hours, the highest positivity ratio was observed in Karachi 11.39% followed by Peshawar 9.72% and Mirpur 9.62%.
