Pakistan repays $149 million to IMF: SBP

KARACHI: Pakistan has successfully paid its 28th installment of the loan it received from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the stand-by arrangement, amounting to $149 million.

   

With repayment of the current installment, Pakistan has to-date repaid $6‚694 million to the IMF since July 2011‚ of which $5‚809 million was under the stand-by arrangement facility, a spokesman for the State Bank of Pakistan said.
