DOHA, Qatar: The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi arrived at the Doha Naval Base on an official visit to Qatar.

Upon his arrival, he was received by the Commander Qatar Emiri Naval Forces (QENF) and presented a guard of honour.

The Naval Chief visited various Qatari Naval facilities and was briefed about the capabilities of the Qatari Naval Forces.

Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan met the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, the Commander QENF, and the Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force separately.

During interactions, matters of mutual interests and bilateral defence collaborations were discussed.

The Naval Chief highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s efforts for maritime security in the region.

The Naval Chief also thanked for the participation of the Qatari Naval Forces in the Pakistan Navy’s Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-21.

The Qatari military dignitaries appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s initiative for collaborative maritime security.

Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan also visited Qatar Naval Ship, Training School and Al Ghanem Academy where he was given onsite briefings.

The Naval Chief also visited Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command & Staff College and called on the Commandant Major General Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen.

The Chief of the Naval Staff also delivered talks on security interactions in the Indian Ocean Region and the role of the Pakistan Navy in the Regional Maritime Security.
