Pakistan, Indian military officials discuss LoC ceasefire

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani and Indian senior military officials met at Rawalakot-Poonch crossing point at Line of Control (LoC) on Friday to discuss ways to further strengthen ceasefire along the LoC.

The meeting was held between brigade commanders of the two countries in the light of decision taken by both sides during the recent meeting of the Directors General Military Operations (DGMOs) at the Wagah border.

In the DGMOs meeting held on December 24, it was decided that two flag meetings between brigade commanders will be held on the LoC to ensure peace and tranquility and the hotline mechanism between them would be made more effective and result-oriented.
