Pakistan, India commerce ministers to meet on Thursday

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan and the Indian minister for state for finance and corporate affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will meet on Thursday (July 24) in Bhutan’s capital Thimpu.

The two sides are expected to be discuss free trade between the two neighbouring countries during the meeting.

Before the ministerial meeting, the meeting of the South Asia Free Trade Area (SAFTA) committee of experts will be held on July 22-23.

The ministers and high officials of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region will participate in both meetings where the bureaucracy will outline details.
