SINGAPORE: Pakistan High Commission in Singapore will organize a webinar on “Afghanistan – The Way Forward” on September 15, 2021.

The joint webinar will be organized in collaboration with the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

The participants will have a detailed discussion on the Afghanistan situation in the joint webinar through Zoom.

In the webinar, the Visiting Research Associate Professor at the ISAS Dr. Iqbal Singh Sevea will deliver Opening Remarks.

The former Foreign Secretary and Pakistan’s former Ambassador to Belgium and the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani will shed light on the topic “Afghanistan – The Way Forward” as the Chief Guest.



It will be followed by an Interactive Session with Ambassador (retd) Jalil Abbas Jilani. Dr. Iqbal Singh Sevea will be the Moderator of the Session.

The purpose of the Interactive Session would be to engage in a frank and candid discussion about the future of Afghanistan, prospects of regional peace and stability, and strategies to ensure that Afghanistan does not descent into chaos yet again and become a haven for extremists and terrorists.
