ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has no swap treaty for prisoners with the United States and the issue of Dr Aafia Siddiqui would be raised with the US after settlement of legal matters, the Foreign Office said.

In his weekly media briefing in Islamabad on Friday‚ Foreign Office Spokesperson Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that they talks were held over Dr Aafia Siddiqui during Pak-US dialogue and her issue is under consideration at the Interior Ministry.

The spokesperson said that the Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline project does not come under the US embargo. He said that the US has assured of providing 200 million US dollars for Bhasha Dam project.

Chauhdry said that the Pak-US strategic dialogues have resumed after visit of the US Secretary of State John Kerry and next month these dialogues will be held over five fields. He further said that Pakistan has cleared its point of view over missile attacks to the US

While replying to a question over water issue with India, the FO spokesperson said that Pakistan wants to talk with India over water issue and we have demanded a date to Indian regime for dialogue over the issue.
