Pakistan fish exports increase 15.25 %

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The exports of fish and fish preparations witnessed increase of 15.25 percent during the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2013-14 compared to the corresponding period of last year, according to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

   

The data said that the exports of fish and fish preparations during July-May (2013-14) were recorded at $335.732 million against the exports of $291.301 million in July-May 2012-13.

Meanwhile, on year-on-year basis, the seafood exports from the country increased by 18.24 percent by going up from $35.520 million last year to $42 million in 2013-14.
