ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed disappointment over the silence of international community over the Israeli brutalities towards innocent Palestinians in the Gaza strip.

   

In a statement, the prime minister termed the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians in Gaza as “genocide”. He said that the crimes against innocent civilians; women, children and elderly people are unparalleled in the recent history of the world.

The prime minister urged the international community to play its role in stopping Israel from naked and brutal aggression.

A report said that 30 percent of the Gazans killed by Israeli offensive against the blockaded sliver are women and children.

Nearly 200 people have been killed and more than 1,400 others injured by the new wave of Israeli aggression in the Gaza strip so far.
