Pakistan Digital Census 2023
The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) recently launched the Digital Census Self-Enumeration Portal as part of the Pakistan’s 7th Population & Housing Census.
The Self-Enumeration Portal is the first ever opportunity provided to any Country in South Asia, enabling every resident of Pakistan the option to count themselves in the Digital Census 2023.

How to Enumerate Yourself
Step 1 – Register Yourself
- Open https://self.pbs.gov.pk
- Click on Register or Sign Up for the first time registration
- Fill the Registration Form
- Receive One-Time Password (OTP) for confirmation
Step 2 – Login
- Click on Login
- Enter Mobile Number and Password to verify your identity
Step 3 – Enter Family Members Information
- Enter the information of you family members (Name, Age, Relationship, Language, Religion, Education, Employment, Migration, Disability etc)
- Sequence of family members must be ensured
- Head of Household must be entered first
Step 4 – Enter Housing Information
- After completing the family member information, enter the information regarding household. (Status of Household, Owner of House, Material used for house, source of drinking of water etc.)
Submitted my information for the 7th Census. The Self Enumeration Portal is super easy and fantastic. Great experience

Step 5 – Verification of Data
- Before submission of Census Questionnaires, it is necessary to verify all the data and there is need of any change
- Click on the Relevant Field and you can change the information of any family member of household
Step 6 – Submission of Census-2022 Questionnaire
The last step before the submission of Census Questionnaire, system will ask a question
- The information I entered is correct and best of knowledge
- Are you sure you want to submit Census Questionnaire
- Save the Unique Token Number (UTN Number) sent on mobile
