ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan has strongly condemned the three terrorist attacks in Kabul on Tuesday which resulted in the loss of precious lives while injuring several innocent people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the government and the people of Pakistan extend deep sympathies to the families of those who have lost their lives and pray for the early recovery of the injured.

“Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the statement said.

“We stand with our Afghan brothers in this moment of sorrow,” it added.

It is important that Afghanistan and the international community engage in close cooperation against the scourge of terrorism.

Earlier in the day, three explosions rocked the Abdul Rahim Shahid High School in Kabul, killing six people and injuring 11.

The School was located in the Dasht-e-Barchi area which was mainly inhabited by the Shia Hazara Community.
