Pakistan, Belarus agree to further strengthen bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The ambassador of Belarus Dr Andrei Ermolovich called on the Chairman Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari in Islamabad on Friday.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to further improve cooperation in different fields to strengthen the existing relations between Pakistan and Belarus.

Leghari invited the ambassador to explore mutual opportunities in the fields of trade, export, manufacturing and parliamentary interaction to boost the cooperation.

The Belarus ambassador appreciated the role Pakistan is playing in the regional stability especially in the wake of US withdrawal from Afghanistan.



Dr Andrei Ermolovich informed that the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus will visit Pakistan in mid of the next month to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.
