Islamabad, Pakistan: Seven soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced Shahadat on 14 April 2022 in Isham, North Waziristan District.

According to the ISPR press statement, terrorists ambushed a military convoy near the Pak-Afghan border in the general area of Isham, North Waziristan District. Own troops initiated a prompt response, effectively engaged and killed 4 terrorists. However, during an intense exchange of fire, 7 soldiers embraced Shahadat. Details of Shuhada is: –

■     Havaldar Tariq Yousaf (age 36 years, resident of Faisalabad).

■     Sepoy Suleman Waqas (age 34 years, resident of Layyah).

■     Sepoy Junaid Ali (age 26 years, resident of Layyah).

■     Sepoy Ijaz Hussain (age 27 years, resident of Khairpur).

■     Sepoy Waqar Ahmed (age 25 years, resident of Mirpur Khas).

■     Sepoy Muhammad Jawad Ameer (age 24 years, resident of Chakwal).

■     Sepoy Arshad Ali (age 23 years, resident of Sohbatpur).

Clearance operation in the area is underway to eliminate any terrorists.

Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

More than 112,000 passengers facing difficulties on the roads across Punjab were provided with various types of assistance and guidance. 119,000 citizens were provided with various types of assistance and guidance at Police Khidmat Markazes. 1,093 cases were registered for the use of illegal weapons. 20,925 liters of alcohol, 400 kilograms of hashish, 53 kilograms of opium and 5.5 kilograms of heroin were recovered from drug peddlers.
