Pakistan ArmyRotary International Team meets Army Chief

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A four-member team of Rotary International – A US Organization on Polio Eradication – held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The team was led by the President Rotary International Mr. Holger Knaack.

During the meeting, matters related to healthcare particularly Pakistan’s commitment for comprehensive Polio Eradication were discussed, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The ISPR said that the COAS appreciated the contributions of Rotary International in Pakistan’s health sector and hoped that with concerted efforts of all institutions, polio will be completely eradicated from Pakistan.
