RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Force Major General Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet held a meeting with the Chief of Army Chief (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual and professional interest and regional security situation were discussed.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan values its brotherly relations with Qatar and Pakistan army also looks forward to enhanced defense and security cooperation with Qatar Armed Forces.
The visiting dignitary appreciated the contributions of Pakistan army for regional peace and security and its role in the training of Qatar’s armed forces.
Separately, the Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Force also met the Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad and discussed matters of mutual interest including regional security situation.
The Commander of Qatar Emiri Air Force appreciated Pakistan Navy efforts for maritime security in the region.
