TEHRAN, Iran: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held separate meetings with the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Admiral Ali Shamkhani and the Army Chief Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi in Tehran on Tuesday, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

In a statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that regional security environment and bilateral defence cooperation were discussed during the meetings.

The COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa reached Tehran on Monday wherein he met the Chief of Staff Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein, and discussed the regional security environment, efforts for regional peace & stability and Pak-Iran border security mechanism.
