RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Director-General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General Faiz Hameed has been posted as the Corps Commander Peshawar, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement on Wednesday, the ISPR said that Lt General Muhammad Amir has been posted as the Corps Commander Gujranwala while Lt General Asim Munir has been posted as the Quarter Master General (QMG).

Faiz Hameed was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General in April 2019, and later in June 2019, he was appointed as the 24th Director-General ISI.

Prior to that, he served as the Adjutant General at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi from April to June 2019.
