RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH) His Excellency Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Friday.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi meets COAS, says Pakistan has significant place in Muslim World

The COAS welcomed the dignitary and highlighted that visit by His Excellency Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi to Pakistan is a matter of honour for the people of Pakistan.

Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi said that Pakistan has a significant place in the Muslim World and it is playing its vital role for peace and stability in the region.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over Pak-Saudi relations.

At the end, Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair prayed for the peace, stability and unity of Muslim Ummah.
