RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A US delegation led by the Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs David Helvey visited Pakistan army’s general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on January 7, 2021 to hold formal consultations on Pakistan-US Strategic Level Defence Dialogue.

The Pakistani delegation was led by the Chief of General Staff of Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.Pakistan-US Strategic Level Defence Dialogue - A US delegation led by the Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs David Helvey visited Pakistan army’s general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on January 7, 2021 to hold formal consultations on Pakistan-US Strategic Level Defence Dialogue. The Pakistani delegation was led by the Chief of General Staff of Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. In a daylong session, issues ranging from regional security to deepening of Pakistan-US bilateral defence and security/military to military cooperation were discussed. The discussions were held in a very cordial and constructive manner with the exchange of views and ideas from both sides.
