ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza called on President Dr. Arif Alvi at Aiwan-i-Sadr Islamabad on Monday after assuming appointment of the CJCSC.

Lt General Nadeem Raza was appointed as the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) with effect from November 27, 2019 for a three-year term, replacing General Zubair Mahmood Hayat.

Earlier today while addressing the ILMpossible Summit organized by the British Council in Islamabad, President Arif Alvi paid tributes to the martyred children of terror-hit Peshawar’s Army Public School (APS) and their families, and said that the APS tragedy was the most painful incident which changed the direction of Pakistan.
