RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza met the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh on Tuesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement, the ISPR said that during the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed.
General Nadeem Raza is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
As per the official Saudi News Agency SPA, during the meeting the Saudi King and the CJCSC reviewed close relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, especially in military fields.
The meeting was also attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; Assistant Special Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Tamim bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem, and Saudi Military Attaché of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Air Commander Awadh Alzahrani.
Pakistan’s Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz was also present in the meeting.
