Islamabad: Pakistan Army strikes Tirah Valley, killed 38 terrorists including some important commanders. According to sources of security forces, gunship helicopters of Pakistan Army successfully destroyed hideouts of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Tirah Valley.

tirahTirah)Valley  is located in Khyber, Kurram and Orakzai agencies of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan (33.73N 71.01E), while its smaller part straddles the border to the north lying in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. Tirah lies between the Khyber Pass and the Khanki Valley. It is inhabited by the Afridi, Orakzai and Shinwari tribes of Pashtuns.

Pakistan Army is striking TTP hideouts in Pak-Afghan borders areas for the last four days. Gunship helicopters are striking TTP weapon factories and hideouts and action will continue till getting results, say sources.
