DUSHANBE: Pakistan Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Thursday met senior military leadership of Tajikistan.

Kayani is on a two-day official visit to Tajikistan where is expected to meet senior political and military leaders of the country.

The army chief called on Defence Minister Colonel General Sherali Khayrulloev and held delegation level talks which were followed by one on one meeting.

Later‚ he was briefed by Chief of General Staff of Tajikistan Lieutenant General Ramil Nadyrov.

Kayani also visited Tajikistan military training institute and witnessed a demonstration of combat drill by mobile force of Tajikistan.
