Overseas Turkish living in Germany start casting votes for new Turkish President

   

Monitoring Desk: Berlin, Germany:  Overseas Turks living in Germany start casting votes for new Turkish President. This is first time expatriate Turks are allowed to vote while living abroad for their direct presidential election.

According to reports, around 2.8 million expatriate Turks are casting their world all over the world while Germany is country where voting is seen in its full swing as 1.4 million Turks live in Germany alone.

Polling opened in Germany and several other countries on Thursday. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the strongest candidate in the elections to be held in Turkey on August 10, 2014.
