More than 60 politicians including Shahbaz Sharif, Fawad Chaudhry, Syed Khursheed Shah, Farooq Sattar and Khawaja Saad Rafique admitted to have more than one wife in their nomination papers filed for upcoming general elections 2018.

As per the media reports referred by Daily Dunya on Wednesday, the former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, the former Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry, and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar admitted in their nomination papers having two wives.

   

Likewise, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khawaja Saad Rafique, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Hamza Shahbaz, Arshad Vohra, Pir Amin ul Hasnat, and Qaiser Mehmood Sheikh also have two wives.

While Ahmad Shah Khagga, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Nasir Iqbal Bosal, Asif Hussain, Ashraf Asif, Arif Khan Sandhila, Sardar Irfan Dogar, Zubair Kardar, former MPA Uzma Bukhari’s husband Sami Ullah Khan, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Aslam Kachhela, Abid Raza, and Sana Ullah Masti Khel admitted that they have three wives.

Sher Afzal Khan, Dr Saeed Elahi, Jam Mehtab Hussain, Khalid Ahmed Lund, Suraj Shah, Abdul Sattar Bachani, Sardar Hir Bukhari, Latif Sra, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Abu Bakr, Amjad Naeem, and Qadir Bakhsh Magsi also have three wives each as per their nomination papers.
