PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The security forces have killed an active terrorist of the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in North Waziristan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement on Saturday, the ISPR said that the security forces conducted an Area Sani-tization Operation in the Boya area of North Waziristan on the reported presence of terrorists.

During an intense exchange of fire, terrorist Ashraf Ullah alias Toofani, a resident of Boya, was killed.

The ISPR said that the terrorist Ashraf Ullah was an active terrorist of the TTP.

It said that he remained involved in target killing, terrorist activities against security forces, extortion, and planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
