RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan military continues the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad successfully throughout the Country, and on Friday killed a high value terrorist and his accomplice affiliated with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Sajna group near Jandola, a Capital Town in Frontier Region Tank.

In a press release issued in Rawalpindi, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that as part of the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, the security forces carried out cordon and search operation near Jandola.

The ISPR said that during the operation, high value terrorist Mehmood ul Hassan alias Khwaja Madni and his accomplice affiliated with TTP Sajna group were killed.

The security force also recovered weapons and ammo from terrorists hideout. 

Separately, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan also carried out an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Talli area of Sibbi District in Balochistan, the ISPR said.

During the IBO, the FC Balochistan recovered weapons and ammunition including SMGs, Pistols, Hand Grenades, Rifles, RPG Rockets, Anti Tank, Anti Personal Mines and 10 KGs of Explosive.

Following the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, the Pakistan army on February 22, 2017 launched the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad across the Country, aimed at indiscriminately eliminating residual / latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring security of the borders.
