The security forces have killed one terrorist involved in multiple terrorist activities, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Monday, the ISPR said that the security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Mir Ali area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district.

During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists. Resultantly, one terrorist got killed while weapon and ammunition were also recovered from him.

The ISPR said that the killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.

The killed terrorist was also involved in target killing of Qari Sami in North Waziristan district.

The locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
