RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) on a terrorist hideout in the MalikKhel area of North Waziristan late last night and killed two terrorists including a terrorist commander Rehmat alias Khalid.

In a statement on Saturday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorist Rehmat alias Khalid was an improvised explosive device (IED) expert and remained involved in different terrorist activities against the Security Forces, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and target killing since 2009 in the area.

However, during the intense exchange of fire with terrorists, Havaldar Shehzad Raza embraced shahadat.

The ISPR further said that during the search operation, the Security Forces also recovered a huge cache of weapons.
