Monitoring Desk: Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) also known as Daesh has claimed responsibility of Quetta Mosque attack, reports Eurasia Diary reports while citing IRNA.

It may be mentioned that 15 people were killed including a senior police officer while 19 others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a mosque during Maghrib prayers located in the Ghousabad neighborhood of the city on Friday.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has directed for report about the blast and expressed his condolences with families of victims. He stated that Pakistan’s resolve to fight terrorism is unshaken and the nation gave sacrifices to establish peace in the Country.

Earlier on Tuesday, two persons were killed and 14 were injured when a bomb planted in a motorcycle was detonated through a remote control device near a vehicle of Frontier Corps (FC) on Quetta’s Mekangi road.
