The Country seems to have once again engulfed by terrorism as a fresh series of horrific incidents has prompted a reminder that the war against terror is not over yet, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

In such latest barbaric occurrence, terrorists forcibly offloaded at least 14 persons from a passenger bus on the Makran Coastal Highway in Balochistan’s Ormara area early on Thursday and shot them dead.

It was third major terrorists attack across the Country in April 2019. Earlier last Friday, at least 20 people were killed and further 48 wounded when a blast ripped through a fruit and vegetable market at Quetta’s Hazarganji area.

Later on a tip-off, Pakistan army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police launched a joint operation against terrorists in Hayatabad Phase VII area of Peshawar on Monday night, which ended in the killing of five terrorists but also in the martyrdom of once police officer.

In a tweet on Thursday, the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said that those involved in recent terror attacks in the Country will be brought to justice.

The information minister said that the attack on Hazara Community in Quetta, Hayatabad and now the despicable incident on Coastal Highway all indicate towards an organized pattern of crime.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan has rendered immense sacrifices and registered major successes in the war on terror. However, the war is not over yet.

Though the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have, to a large extent, eliminated terror networks across the Country, which has also resulted in vast subsiding of bombings. However, especially Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province continues to bleed, emphasizing that much more has yet to be done to decimate the menace of terrorism from every part of the Country.
