RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Three Pakistan Army Soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement on Thursday, the ISPR said that the Security forces conducted two separate Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) on terrorist hideouts in North Waziristan.

In the Operations, two terrorists including an improvised explosive device (IED) expert were killed by the Security Forces.North Waziristan - Three Pakistan Army Soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, three soldiers including Lance Naik Abbas Khan, Sepoy Zia Ul Islam, and Sepoy Azaib Ahmed embraced shahadat. The martyred Lance Naik Abbas Khan was a resident of Orakzai District while Sepoy Azaib Ahmed and Sepoy Zia Ul Islam were residents of Karak and Bannu respectively.

However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, three soldiers including Lance Naik Abbas Khan, Sepoy Zia Ul Islam, and Sepoy Azaib Ahmed embraced shahadat.

The martyred Lance Naik Abbas Khan was a resident of Orakzai District while Sepoy Azaib Ahmed and Sepoy Zia Ul Islam were residents of Karak and Bannu respectively.
