RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Two Pakistan army soldiers embraced martyrdom while one soldier got injured in terrorists’ firing in South Waziristan last night, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In a statement on Thursday, the ISPR said that terrorists fired on a security forces check post near Pash Ziarat area in South Waziristan late last night.
The security forces promptly responded; however, during an exchange of fire with terrorists, two soldiers including 32-year-old Havaldar Matloob Alam and 25-year-old Sepoy Suleman Shaukat embraced shahadat.
In addition, one soldier suffered injuries.
The ISPR said that the operation is in progress for clearance of the area.
