The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that after successfully repulsing terrorist attacks in Balochistan’s Panjgur and Naushki areas yesterday night, the security forces carried out a clearance operation to hunt down terrorists hiding in the areas.

In a statement on Thursday, the ISPR said that in Naushki, the security forces encountered and killed five more terrorists bringing the tally to nine terrorists killed in the area.

The ISPR said that four brave soldiers embraced shahadat including an officer while repulsing this attack.

While in Panjgur, the security forces operation is continuing to eliminate fleeing terrorists.

The ISPR said that four terrorists have so far been killed in Panjgur while at least four to five are encircled by the security forces.

However, during the intense fighting with terrorists, three soldiers embraced shahadat and 4 soldiers are injured.

The ISPR said that as per the initial investigation, intelligence agencies have intercepted communications between terrorists and their handlers in Afghanistan and India.

Earlier on Wednesday, the security forces successfully repulsed two terrorist attacks in Panjgur and Naushki areas in Balochistan and inflicted heavy casualties to terrorists.

In a tweet on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan paid tribute to the security forces for repulsing terrorist attacks in Balochistan.
