One killed, several injured after trains collide near Ran Pathani

KARACHI, Pakistan: One person was killed while several others sustained injuries when two trains collided near Ran Pathani area of Sindh on Tuesday.

The sources said that the collision occurred between a freight train and the Lahore-bound Business Express.

The District Coordination Officer (DCO) of the Railways department confirmed the incident and said that the driver of the passenger train lost his life in the incident.

Following the incident, Railway services between Karachi and the rest of the country were suspended.
