Nisar seeks everyone’s contribution in attaining peace

ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Wednesday that people must realise that we are in a state of war and every Pakistani has to make a contribution towards attaining a peaceful country.

The interior minister made these remarks while replying to questions of a group of 53 participants of 100th National Management Course in Islamabad on Wednesday.

While elaborating the first national internal security policy, Nisar said that the policy has been designed to deal with multi-faceted challenges facing the country. He said that the policy aims at providing an organizational mechanism for improving coordination between federal and provincial intelligence as well as security agencies.

Nisar said that under the policy a highly trained and well-equipped Rapid Response Force will be established both at federal and provincial levels for responding to any extreme situation in the country.
