LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has launched the flagship project for Youth’s Skill Empowerment “Hunarmand Nojawan”, which would provide quality driven skills to an additional 100,000 students annually at Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Institutes across the province.
The program was launched at Expo Center in Lahore on Saturday (December 14, 2019).

The Rs 1.5 billion worth Chief Minister’s Flagship Program Hunarmand Nojawan bids farewell to the conventional style of learning and shifts to a new skill methodology which focuses on developing ‘people instead of buildings’.

With 56 new courses including Virtual Assistant for Amazon, Artificial intelligence and Robotics, Hunarmand Nojawan Program envisages to empower the youth with economic opportunities in line with Prime Minister’s vision for creating 10 million jobs.
Under Hunarmand Nojawan program, annually 100,000 students to be imparted free of cost skill training at TEVTA Institutes
The program will empower youth with a new focus on quality demand driven skills and to develop economic opportunities through entrepreneurship and job placements at local and international level.
Laying special emphasis on women empowerment in skills development, the program will train over 11,665 women in 19 courses through 167 female institutes.
