Islamabad, Pakistan: As many as 105.95 million Pakistani voters are legible to cast their votes in forthcoming General Elections 2018.
It is pertinent to mentioned that registered voters during General Elections 2013 were 76.19 million. Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) got highest votes as 14.79 million while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) bagged second highest votes 7.56 million and Pakistan People’s Party of late Benazir Bhutto got 6.82 million votes.
Figures of registered voters include around 46.73 million female voters and around 59.22 million male voters.
Highest number of registered voters is in province of Punjab 60.67 million voters including 26.99 million female reports.
Second highest registered voters are from province of Sindh where 22.39 million voters have registered themselves to cast their votes including 9.95 million female voters.
Number of registered voters is also promising in province of KPK where 15.31 million voters are registered including 6.6 million female voters.
Year 2017 census has increased total seats of National Assembly and data available indicates higher interest of females to registered themselves as voters and it is expected that turnover of female voters would higher than previous elections.
It is pertinent to mentioned that General Elections 2018 are scheduled to be held in last week of July 2018.
