NewsTHE TOP 1% OF TALENT WORLDWIDE CAN BE HIRED FROM CROSSOVER

Even in this day and age when technology reigns supreme, our society still is very skeptic about freelancers as many of them still think that no one can make any money by working from the comfort of their homes with hours of their choice. This is exactly why I was personally very excited about Crossover being officially launched in Pakistan by striking a deal with TechHub Connect, a government funded co-working facility, for the freelancers in Lahore.

For those of you who don’t know, 95c6a29b.logo2_ is one of the many job providers for freelancers around the world. They basically provide a service to both freelancers and their potential employers by screening each job application and conducting pre-interviews before referring a free lancer to a client for the final interview. The free lancer in turn only has to give Crossover a pre-decided sum from their first pay for using their services. This business model works great for both the employer as they don’t have to do the screening themselves as well as the freelancers, who don’t have to apply to a hundred jobs for hopes to get a call back on at least one of them. Of course, the drawback is that they do have a very competitive screening process for each job which presents a huge problem for freelancers who have just stepped in the field of online jobs as they often lack the experience or the skill set required to complete a job in the most efficient way possible.
applying-for-freelance-jobAll in all, this still is a great bit of news for any freelancers in Lahore who are looking for better salaries and or an opportunity to work from the comfort of their homes with ease.

Moscow says it won’t allow US to silence UNSC on Israeli violence against Palestinians Monitoring Desk: Russian envoy in United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the UN Security Council should bring peace, stability and prosperity to the Middle East and Russia would not allow United States to silence UNSC over the issue of Gaza crisis. According to TASS news Agency, Nebenzya said that Moscow will continue to call for an end to violence against Palestinians and will not allow the US to muzzle the UN Security Council as Washington seeks to support Israel's operation in Gaza. "We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation. We will not allow the Americans to gag the entire council with their hands in an effort to encourage further continuation of Israel's ruthless operation," he said in a speech at the Security Council.
