Monitoring Desk: Farah Gogi’s name was trendy in Pakistan for almost two years and she became a household name for exceptionally high assets, corruption, her powerful role in running the Punjab government during the tenure of Usman Buzdar as Chief Minister Punjab and investigations into her assets confirmed that she was front-person of alleged corruption of the then First Lady Bushra Manika and her husband prime minister Imran Khan.

However, no action was taken against her and she continues to live a luxurious life somewhere outside Pakistan. Pakistan’s crime control agencies such as FIA could not manage her Red Warrant from Interpol to get her back to the country. Neither the PDM government nor the interim government and even not sitting PMLN government could get hold of her for reasons best known to the governments. However, this case is still under the limelight because the verdict of 190 million sterling pounds (around 65 billion Pak rupees) case can be announced anytime.
