Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan: Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have agreed to establish air connectivity, reports Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency.

The decision was taken during the meeting of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Sharipovich Jeenbekov here on Thursday.

During their sideline meeting at SCO Summit, Prime Minister Imran Khan had discussed s range of initiatives those can (could) be further enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Kyrgyz President on hosting SCO Summit while Kyrgyz President appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional connectivity and two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and agreed to comprehensively upgrade mutual cooperation in diverse fields.

It was agreed to strengthen land and air connectivity between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Both leaders also agreed to Joint Ministerial Commission and Bilateral Political Consultations soon.

The two countries agreed to enhance people-to-people contacts and boost tourism cooperation through friendly visa regimes.

The Prime Minister invited the Kyrgyz President to visit Pakistan and invitation was accepted by President Sooronbay Sharipovich Jeenbekov.

It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Imran Khan accompanied by the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar arrived here at the Kyrgyz Capital Bishkek on Thursday for a two-day visit.

The prime minister was received by the Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and the Kyrgyz Minister for Health Kosmosbek Sarievich Cholponbaev.
