All roads leading to SC building blocked as PTI workers clashed with Islamabad Police

Islamabad:  The Police have blocked all roads leading to Supreme Court (SC) Pakistan building after a clash between Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) workers and the police on early Tuesday morning. PTI Chairman Imran Khan has ordered his followers to beat police whenever police come closer to their sit in outside Parliament building. Situation outside Parliament of Pakistan is similar to Maidan Euro Kiev for the last one month where protesters of two political parties are sitting and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif as Ukrainian protesters were demanding the resignation of their former President.

Dispatch News Desk reporter Sajid Ali Khan reported that PTI workers trashed policemen with clubs and also pelted stones over police contingent standing outside SC building to protect it from unruly mob belonging to PTI supports.

“Police and PTI workers pelted stones at each other. Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Ali Amin Gandapur reached the spot to defuse the tension after which PTI workers returned to the sit-in site’, reported Dunya News.
Meanwhile, heavy contingents of police reached the Supreme Court Chowk and Radio Pakistan Chowk to maintain law and order situation. Police have also blocked all roads leading to SC building.
