ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s wife Reham Khan has given her response to an allegation published in British media about her fake degree.
Earlier the day, the British Daily Mail newspaper raised questions over degree of Reham Khan, saying that North Lindsey College even doesn’t offer course in Broadcast Journalism as the former BBC journalist claims to have received from there.
The officials at North Lindsey College said that the college has never offered such a course. They also said that they can find no record of anyone bearing Khan’s name or age ever having enrolled.
“We do not have anyone by those names or date of birth having attended this college,” according to a Lindsey College spokesman. “We have never done a degree in broadcast journalism.”
However in a series of her tweets, Reham Khan termed the report a ‘baseless malicious propaganda’ and said that ‘she has never claimed to have a degree in Broadcast Journalism as she has a completed diploma in Broadcast Media that she obtained from the Grimsby Institute Media Centre’.
In my statement I have put the course code & specific campus. Also additional info on website now. Please move on to serious issues.
