LAHORE, Pakistan: The Raiwind Jor 2020 is set to take place at Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz from March 11 to 15 with religious zeal.

The Raiwind Jor will be attended by preachers who have spent minimum of four months in the pursuit of disseminating the message of Allah Almighty and persuading the people to dwell their lives as per Allah’s and His Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teachings throughout the Country.

The Jor (gathering) will kick off on March 11 after the Asr Prayer and conclude on March 15 with a Collective Prayer (Dua) after the Fajr Prayer.

During the five-day congregation, Religious Scholars from within the Country as well as from neighboring India i.e. Maulana Ahmed Laity and Maulana Ibrahim Dewla will deliver sermons to thousands of faithfuls.

Meanwhile, the preparations are underway with full swing for the Raiwind Jor 2020.

Under the Punjab government’s directives, the Lahore district administration has begun the process of installing lights at Ijtema routes.

According to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore Danish Afzal, nearly 400 lighting poles will be installed at routes and the parking area.

Earlier last month, the three-day Lahore Tableegi Ijtema was held from February 22 to 24 in which Maulana Nazar-ur-Rehman, Maulana Khursheed, Maulana Jamaal Ud Din, Bhai Naeem, Dr Saleem, and Maulana Umar Ahmed delivered religious lectures.
