ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Met Office on Friday forecast rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills at scattered places in Upper Parts of the Country as a westerly wave is passing these areas and may persist till Sunday morning.

As per the Met Office, rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Quetta, Zhob, Sargodha, Lahore and Gujranwala divisions.

The snowfall over the mountains is also expected in Murree, Gilliyat, Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during Friday night to Sunday morning.

Whereas cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the Country.

Meanwhile, foggy conditions are expected in South Punjab and Upper Sindh during morning/night hours.

Kalam, Skardu -09°C, Astore -08°C, Gupis -07°C, Hunza, Bagrote -06°C, Gilgit, Rawalakot, Malamjabba, Dir -03°C, Parachinar -02°C, Chitral, Drosh, Kakul, Muzaffarabad, Bunji -01°C.

Main Cities Minimum Temperatures:

Islamabad 03°C, Quetta 02°C, Gilgit -03°C, Muzaffarabad -01°C, Peshawar 05°C, Chitral -01°C, Lahore 02°C, Murree 01°C, Karachi 15°C, Hyderabad 13°C.
