LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab University (PU) on Monday (August 29) announced the results of BA/BSc annual examination 2016 according to which 37 percent students appeared in the examination succeeded.

In this regard, a prize distribution ceremony was held at 09:30 on Monday morning at Al-Raazi Hall in Punjab University wherein position holders were awarded prizes.

Top position holders in BA

First Position: Mansoor Ali                           665 marks

Second Position: Faryal Shahbaz                 660 marks

Third Position: Atiqa Bashir                         655 marks

Top position holders in BSc

First Position: Huma                                   702 marks

Second Position: Zara Nasir                        699 marks

Third Position: Maryam Saba                      697 marks

The BA/BSc annual examination 2016 was conducted by the Punjab University from April 07 to April 30 this year.

The Punjab University was established in 1882 in Lahore, and is the largest as well as the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan.

The University strives to provide a conducive environment for the pursuit of the academic activities. On account of its quality degrees, pleasant environment and low tuition fees the University remains the institution of first choice for admission seeking students.
